    Torn & Mended

She likes him, he likes her
Thats not all thre is more.
Past relationships have torn her apart,
So she cannot commit with her full heart.
How does she know this won't be the same,
    Just anouther heart breaking game?
Shell follow her heart when its time to choose,
Shes still got a little left to lose.
The last piece of her heart should she use on him?
Maybe he can peice it together again.
He took in her heart shattered & torn,
And loved it like it had been reborn.

Nice touch with inner suggestion, Spelling only neg.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
