    Tread Upon

    No peace or privacy
    Eyes always upon me
    Playing cat and mouse
Wondering when they'll be upon me

    Security invaded and contaminated
My feelings of safety ripped from me
Taken from me with no remorse

Hate for the ones who were thought to protect
Never forgetting the blood that has been shed
Innocence stolen as the blood runs thin

The enigma of this poem is so amazing. Nicely written.

is this about a home breakin? sounds like it might be to me...and the last line about how the police didnt show up on time...

No, this is not a normal home breakin. This is about the police and the way they had done me. Also, the end is where I watched the police shoot and kill a good friend for no reason other than who he was.

    wow!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
