you make numb when the times are right

you make me forget when i've had a bad night

you keep me a float i this world so high

i dare you touch me i dare you to try

the more i take of you the more i need

the less i take of you the more i bleed

This is an amazing poem, comes across to me as a spiritually inspired poem!

I am personaly a fan of the shorter poems. i like to write them because they seem to leave the reader wanting more and it seems to make them think about the situation more than a poem that drags on for a page.

okay so this is my very first read of your work and this is my worthless opinion. you seem to have a lot of life and pain in your heart and this piece only scratches the surface. can't wait to read more of you. i love "real-life" poetry. a small suggestion would be to keep it raw and straight from your heart without thinking. it shows you have talent and passion. very nice write!

very good. wish there would have been more though

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
