Untouchable love

Untouchable love

Your love is beyond my reach
How can this be
That you have become so intangible to me

There are so many words that I can speak
So many stories that you can read
Before you realize that it was me
The one you gave your heart to be
Is now forbidden to speak

This is such a taboo
How I feel about you
But this was my decision
To fall in love with you

Now I am sitting here knowing not what I do
But I know I have to rid myself of you
Before I succumb to this love that I have for you
