Valueless

Friends whisper dime store adages to just be patient.
They withhold affirmation that rejection isn't an imaginary fragment.

Through deep intellectual wording and sincere emotion you draw out a vivid picture through words, almost exposing the soul bare. Raw. Rattled. And in discord. Impressivly worded.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
