Wanted Friend
I need someone to talk ,
To join me and walk.
Joy would be all she'll say,
As she joins me to play.
It's she I'll call for,
As I ask for more.
The joy would be long,
When we sing our song.
I need a friend,
Whose love won't end.
With whom I'll be free,
And who'll stand by me.
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
