Wanting

Wanting

What makes me want
In order for me to love you you have to be very strong in some ways, yet very weak in others
You've got both in spades and I've wanted you for days

But I don't have to love you to love having you
And sometimes love makes it harder
So wouldn't it all be better for all of us
If we'd pretend to be content with what we have

I don't need to love you, I just want to hold you
Stop whispering those nothings in my ear
Take off your clothes and get over here

good write, loved the ending, good point in the begging. :)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
