    We stand as one
    We stare in the eye of danger
    Side by side
    We held each other as we cried
    Together, we carried soilders that died
    It dont matter if we won as long as we tried
    Victory was a step away
    It was hard to make it through each day
    So, I always feel the need to pray
    That I make it through anything that
    Come's my way
    Fighting with all my might
    I have to make it some way tonight
    Making sure each of my move is right
    I look forward to the next day with the sun
    Shining bright

    Brings back a lot of memories to me. Great poem! I wish some of the kids I had in school would have followed this poem, and gotten to see the next day.
