What a dream

What a dream

What a dream.

I press my cold hands to my cheeks and a chill crawls slowly down my spine.
kinda wakes me up doesn't it?
god knows how long ive been wallowing in my own mind.
The snow is blinding, a mixture of welding light and a winter wonderland.
i squint my eyes but its no use so i cover them with my right hand.
closing my eyes i see a rabbit and i pursue a chase.
i catch the rabbit but it has a familiar face.
"who are you Rabbit?" i ask with my own concern.
The rabbit disappers .
i look around but there is no way to turn.
these walls. Brick walls .Dirty walls, suround me and i am trapped.
i run to the corner and burrow my head into my knees. But i gasp for a twig has snapped.
Im back in the forest.
That comforting blinding light.
The crisp air.
The rabbit is back in my sight.
I dont pursue a chase, but leave it be.
I walk away and it hopps up to me.
"who are you Rabbit?" i ask again.
"why would you like to know my friend?"
i smile in surprise, a little worried that a rabbit is talking to me.
"Friend? Then why did you flee?"
"You know who I am, and you know me well. If you look closer I am sure you can tell."
I Kneeled down .
It wasnt a Rabbit it was me.
