    What I See (Photograph)

I sit and stare at your photograph,
    I wake at your behalf,
Remembering what you mean to me,
Starring deeper I can't withhold what I see,
Of deepness and of endless depth,
I sleep and dream with every breath,
Your beauty tries to speak its love from silky petals,
I embrace and regenerate a love that steady settles,
The voice carries and flows from the depths of a
    lovely soul,
Time falls back and regains the purpose of your
    beauty's role,
Your beauty will never die, a thought that to me
    defiles,
I see the glisten and the glimmer of a
    million smiles,
It shines brighter than a thousand stars on the
    blackest of a million nights,
Like a black leather velvet glove blanketing the
    moon and stars of twilight's,
Your light surrounds and embraces me,
Like a timers end, you set my soul to free,
I feel as though I have been given heavenly wings,
As beautiful as the angel light that forever sings,
Of crystal lakes and steady streams,
    Your beauty more than gleams,
    So deep an impression,
    And movement of suppression,
Falls beyond my deepest memory of ever living,
The air that fills of ever giving,
The blood that fills from out to end,
    Never lending suffering send,
A time frame of time not set,
Never will I ever see, infinite,
    A beauty more than yours....

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
