What's done in the dark...
How do I make sense of disturbances?
You know things that have occurred that
where done in the dark and have come to light?
See I may have thought that I was with a
picture perfect mate, but then I found out I made
a mistake.
Lines where cast out with bate, I got attached.
Was it because questions weren't asked, or skills
weren't applied to the one who was supposed to
stand by my side? Why is love blind? Did I go
into this relationship with my eyes closed?
I thought we were close truth be known. But now
heart ache plays it's part while a million thoughts
of " what did I do wrong" cross my mind. Am I
to blame for the passion that my love gave away?
He's not going to say or explain why stabbing me in
the heart occurred. Standing there he's wondering how
he got caught. And I stand before him teary eyed, my
heart pounding beyond it's ability, and my strength is
too far gone to gain back, and why?
It's because my love lost sight of me. He didn't stand by
my side. But, what was done in the dark came to light...
