Where Are the Righteous?

Where Are the Righteous?

The Lord is in his holy temple.
The throne of the Lord is in heaven.
An though  he trieth the righteous,
On the wicked shall he rain.

Still, does the Godly man ceaseth?
Do the faithful fall from His sight?
If so, who then shall reside in thy temple?
Who shall dwell in thy holy presence?

Hear me Lord, and rebuke me not in thine anger.
Neither chastise me in thy displeasure.
But return my Lord and deliver my soul.
Show me thy mercy, for I am weak.

In thee Lord resides my trust.
In my slumber thou sustaineth me.
I will praise thee according to thy righteousness,
For your glory is set above the heavens.

Yea, though my words be but tarnished iron,
Yours are a pure as silver,
And my soul cries out, “Thou art my God.
My Jehovah.   My Savior.”

All heaven declares the glory of my God,
For his law is perfect;
His statutes are right.
The commandments of the Lord are pure.

Lord God, show us thy mercy,
And raise not thy right hand in anger;
For you have sanctified us.
And through your grace, righteousness will be our legacy.

Selah.
