    Why this again...?

    Curse thee and that smile
       That remelted my heart again!
    Why you, and why now- you had to be alone,
         When I knew you were not.
     Sweetness gallore, and this sweet summer tones
          This is what makes it hard;
            Just one look, one stare into those blue eyes
                And you had me a fool
                To loose myself one more time.

    Oh cast you out- you blessed love...
       how cursed you are
           To plague the life of this soul
            That is quiet now!

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
