    Winter Wonderland

As snow falls, their delecate form,
every one different, not one alike.
I watch as they decend down from the sky,
gently kissing my nose and my cheeks.
Then as soon as they appear,
    they're gone from my view.
Softly whispering my name as they nip at my fingers,
their frosty bite is my favorite part.
My world is transformed into something new,
A beautiful, crystal, winter wonderland awaits my return.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
