    Writers Block

    Blank empty pages
    Words that remain unwritten.
A story down through the ages
By the writers bug I have been bitten.

    What penance must I pay
To make my words come out clear.
I have so much to say
Can I not find a friendly ear.

No muse will strike me it seems
An empty screen a lifeless quill.
Alone again with nothing but dream
Just one word would give such a thrill.

    Thoughts marauding through my head
As I sit and watch the clock.
When I try to write they all fall dead
I guess I must have writers block.

I like how you presented it in melody. I did feel something off with; but dream, Just, and such. Now thats me for what I see and I just read a good write.

Wow, YOU ARE NOT ALONE WITH THIS ONE,I guess all writters experience that block.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
