Your So Mean

    Your So Mean

You took advantage of my Heart

Used me for whatever it was

    You wanted of me

    You lied

    You wronged my Heart

    Yet still

    After the fact

    Here I am

    Still in Love

    With you

And all you have to say for your self

    Is me, me, me

    I, I, I

    The guilt is too much

    For me to bear

    I’m a terd

    Blah, blah, blah

I’ve asked of you, a proper good bye

For after all the Hell you’ve put my Heart through

It’s the least you could do

    Rather than treating me

    Like some common guy

    Remember

I was the one you once made love to

I was the one you use to say

    I Love you to

    We once shared a bed

    We once shared a Heart

    But now

    That you’ve been caught

    Now

That you no longer have to lie

    Or keep a secret

    You chose to treat me

    Like a terd

    A common man

Like I never had a moment with you

    You insult my Heart

Does my Love not count for a single thing with you

I ask for one simple thing

    To send me off

    With a proper goodbye

    Cause I know

After this last moment we share

    You’ll disappear

    Like the past

And thou I’ll miss you dearly

You’ll forget me the moment we part

    You’d leave me so coldly

    Like some other guy

    That hurts

    But I shouldn’t be surprised

    You truly are

    So Mean

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
