A rainy day

A rainy day

Drip, drop
Drip drop
Monotonous sound of rain
As it falls from the sky
Back the the earth again.

Tick, tock
Tick, tock
Clicking of the clock
As the hands make their way
Around the face again.

Clip, clop
Clip, clop
Trotting of the horse
As it makes its way
Back to the house again.

Thud, creak
Thud, creak
Family coming home
Escaping the rain
Back from town again.

Splish, splash
Splish, splash
School of fish
Swimming in the pond
Jumping up and down again.
