    A Sunrise in Heaven

In my dreams I see the light illuminating off the gentle sunrise,

Watching the rays dance grace fully over the sea.

Listening to the crash of the waves onto the glistening crystals of sand,

As the birds of the air sing their faithful song,

I melt away in the morning sun.

Hope lie still as the haunting wind takes control,

And my dream collides with a nightmare, but only to be saved by the sun ridden air.

Than my hopes soar above those perfect clouds and burst into the action,

    Oh I wonder how.

A small ray of light dances around me and soon reaches up to the sky as if to say “follow the path I have laid for thee,”

I close my eyes and dream it can happen,

    Dream I can fly.

My feet leave the earth and I’m soaring in the air.

Going in search of my once ever loved wish,

Racing towards the sun with the birds close by,

Racing to my dreams, that will one day come alive.

Very very nice poem filled with enriching metaphors and a command of words that is well beyond your years.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
