    A Walk With Sister

     I am a ghost to my environment
    a harlem-shaking harmony cat
    flaunting on summer trails
    with her
    A wilderness consumes me
    but I go unto it quitely
    until we disagree
    then, I speak sweetly
    as I am a child again

    I like the sweet innocence of this poem and the cool phrase you use in the beginning - "a harlem-shaking harmony cat." I'm curious as to any commentary you might have written to go with this poem. Is this a poem about the relationship between you and your sister? Sounds like maybe she's an older sister and the both of you don't get along too well or don't seem to fit, but you tolerate her because she's your sister. Sounds also like she's a bit intimidating to you? Please explain a little. Just curious.

    It is about a walk with my sister, but she is much younger than me. She's a kid. There's a ten year age difference. When i am with her, i lose the worries that have grown over the years and begin to feel more alive. The wilderness that consumes me is childhood innocence. I'm glad you enjoyed it and i hope that i answered some of your questions.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
