  • Hey guys! I recently published a poetry chapbook in memory of my mammaw. It's available on amazon.com and createspace e store. It's titled If I Settle Down... by Charles Cross.

Piers of Passion

I visited these sandy shores once before
   singing and dancing as another
A bright blue-eyed virgin with open ears
said I was to greet fame on these crowded piers

Aphrodisiac experiences kept my breast warm
bear caves concieved rags and a polished vixen
My breast are no more, since she opened the door
wildlife genesis, mute words from Fire's refashioned core

Relief, genetic's meaningless apron
  stained with infancy, sleeping blood
in clocks, runned by polar bears
   white fur, crying in calenders
      for the lost month
           -never-
        to be spoken

But now, I slip off my laceless shoes
pulling crocodile teeth out of exhausted feet
dreams out from the snake's coils
self-hymms out of the Black Market
love out of a distorted breath
tea out of an ancient whiskey bottle
virgins out of tight-fit blue jeans
killing the risk of age with infinite youth

Shoeless, I sing and dance in Beauty's endless possibilities
   soaring through painted heavens
      up above the crowded piers
      singing to Passion's petticoat ears

I loved the metaphors and that your setting was on a beach. The way you cam efull circle exploring many facets of life and emo are superb. Ginga

Thanx, i'm glad you enjoyed it, but i would like hear your ideas. F***it bro life is short, get that shit out there :D

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
