    Adventure 1

Near the mound, where the kingdom laid
Only the Adventures traveled,  only the brave
They set their sights on gold and silver
In the tavern they only thought of treasure
Dungeins and traps they thought of
They were Adventures souls from the cove
Pirates and plunder was once there home
But now only a bag of coins and a weapon is all they owned
They travel far and wide,  through the grassland, forest and swamp
Where dead men tell no tales, places of old haunts
    They travel far and wide
Some guards took the theifs bribe
Some guards allowed them into their city
As some spoke of the forgotten treasury
Ruins castles, ruin monasteries were all the same to the adventurer.
As they explored the land,  they found adventure
Dragons and ghost they would most likely meet
The adventure would fight on, finding the old keep
The wizard would collect scrolls and old books
As he would copy spells in his own spell book
The adventure lived proud and loud as they set foot in the ruins
Finding forgotten treasures as they passed by traps and illusions

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
