Afraid

I, hide this vision inside my mind.

I, look no further before I, cry.

Each tear that falls from my face.

Each memory, I will erase.

I, can no-longer know what it meant to me?

And the dreams r scary. At least it seems.

The call of my spirit cant break free.

And the distance between us? Is only just me.

So I, say once more do not fear

For I’m only afraid of me my dear.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
