    Shadows give chase

Why am I alone in a world so cold?

Why am I a burden to the ones I, know?

    I seem to get left.

    And shadows give chase.

    An empty world.

    I will never embrace.

YES!! very very direct and truthful for many these days--

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
