    Poem Commentary

sOMETIMES i THINK THAT ITS ALL ABOUT MOMENTS IN TIME THAT WE EXPERIENCE AND HOW WE WISH TO INTERPRET THEM SO YOU SEE OUR VISION SHARED.

    Afterwards

Looking up she see's his eyes upon her
Smiling into them in return is the secrets of moments before
Delight in his presance and company evident in the softness of her eyes and face
Daily routine oft times done without thought
Now the moment shared bringing about shyness
Complete is the joy that she feel within
That he is there right now still bringing thoughts of Wow
So long awaited this time complete is the feeling within
He is here he is mine
She will savor she will taste
She will live and enjoy all he will give
And in the all she will taste the love of a lifetime
Looking up she meets his eyes

This is like a soothing dip in a pool of warm mineral water in the open air of the Travatien desert hot springs: sensual and dreamy.

very nice. i really like the rhythm of your poem.love the phrase: "daily routine oft times done without thought now the moment shared bringing about shyness" that is very truly seen and deftly expressed. this poem just needs a rewrite to tighten it up a bit, but definitely a hit!

I thank you for your input it is always appreciated and I agree I should have put a bit more into it.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
