ALL IS WELL

Poem Commentary

The willingness to accept God's mandate for our lives allows us the freedom to rejoice as we travel through this spiritual evolution of life and feel the power of God flowing into us and through us into the world.

ALL IS WELL

When my time of departure from this present existence draws near
And the number of my days are defined by the sands of time; do not despair;

         "All Is Well"

When I am weary and worn from running
 this race of life;
When Gabrael blows his horn and the choir sings the last verse of Amazing Grace; Please be happy for me;

    "All is Well"

Do not become heavy laden with grief and sorrow.... Instead... rejoice, for I will have overcome a world of spiritual malnutrition and found ultimate peace, A peace which surpasses all understanding.

"All Is Well"

When my battle has been fought and my race has been won; When I have removed my shield and sword and set sail for a better place..... A place that my God has prepared for me;   Rejoice!
for.....

"All Is Well"   with my soul!

I pray that that is true. I hope you are truly saved and completed all the five steps of salvaton.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
