    An Extended Epitaph

    I was born
    Learned ahead
    Ample student
    Now I’m dead.

    I was born
    Books I read
    Learned to live
    Now I’m dead

    I was born
    Then I wed
    Perfect Wife
    Now I'm dead.

    I was born
    Child I led
    Loving mother
    Now I’m dead.

    I was born
    Poor I fed
    Lovely lady
    Now I’m dead.

    I was born
    Tears I shed
    Twisted soul
    Now I’m dead.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
