    Angels In Our Pathway

I look deeply into the children's eyes....
May I have one moment, to try?
    The wars,the hatred,and devastation;why?
I see this upon the faces of the Elderly Deaths.
The wisdom we buried as they take a last breath.
The belief with-in a heart;the cures of our will..
I feel remorse and numbness;in thought still.
I've been to see the crippled and Veterans of War...
They fought to preserve life, and protect our shores.
I've been raised by fables, literature, and stories.
I've loved the weak and the meek risen by their glory.
I know pain;friends and children burned to death by flame.
Today I know their in a Heavenly Kingdom domain.
I've had friends murdered by their own hand;Anger and Rage.
I met abuse and I've seen enough of egos and violence.
I pefer not to discuss the emotional scares.I sit by in silence...
The truth pours;as I soak ink into this new page.
Today blood spills still; My thought in my day, as I cope.
Peace on Earth is just a small microwave ray,yet I still hope...
Our labors and fruits of our principles fell from up above.
Hope walks us all into Faith excelled by Love...
My prayer is gift in completion;to change this time...
Angels are our children scared by us right in their prime.
The precious gift of life; still not cherished in all the seasons.
Angels are people in Our Pathway too, for very strong reasons.
