Beautiful Liberation

I see you the classic

He polishes you and shows you off

Never just let you run and enjoying the ride

I sneak up and run my hands over the curves

Slipping inside I soon have you purring

Gently easing you away not waiting to draw attention

On the road we cruise along letting you work into it

Soon we are picking up speed as we leave it all behind

You feel so good inside not like your age but like a new model

Soon we are a blur both of us to the world

We have gone so far so fast and now we begin slowing

Noticing you are out of fuel I too rest and allow you to come to a complete stop

I now push alone barring all getting you what you need

Soon you are refueled and we are off again

Caring not were we go or where we have been

Just as long as it’s away from the owner I liberated you from.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
