But Really Though Don’t You Already Know

Going to prison
What is the reason?
To be thrown away like trash
To be set free knowing your freedom won’t last

But really though
Don’t you already know?

It happened when you got too lazy to get a job
When you believed you only knew how to rob
When you spent all your money on sex and getting stoned
Until your moneys all gone
When your faith became the call of the wild
Where committing felonies to live became your lifestyle
Claiming that you’re grown
And believing you ain’t done nothing wrong

But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?

It happened when designer drugs became your only reason to live
Now you think you ain’t got nothing to give
In 1889 the drugs were designed for who and by who
If you don’t know then you are too through
People saying you got problems you saying they wrong
You believe you’re still young, handsome, and strong
It was right turning your wife into a whore
Your Childs life you don’t care no more
Everything you own is gone
You’re getting high all alone
But you claim you can stop anytime
Right after you commit another crime
Then when your health fails
Your choices are suicide death or hell

But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?

That this is a colony
You were taught from birth to commit a felony
It is your level of American indoctrination
There is no history of self or education
But only hypocrisy
The lie making you believe you live in a democracy
The European kings still have supreme power, dominance, and control over you
I thought you knew
That you are still a slave
The man is still getting paid
The government is not controlled by the people
But big brother is looking through your peephole
That ghettoes are manufactured with great piety
Along with felons and other criminal products of society
And you gave them the power over yourself
Or did they take your power and your wealth
Who got you calling yourself a nigga?
Go figure

But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?

That Jews lived in ghettoes in Germany
That Jews were African originally
That makes Jesus a black man right
Then who made you believe he was white
The same people who invented mind control drugs in their laboratory
The same ones who brought those drugs into our American territory
Powerful tools of the rich
Dangerous brews created by a witch
Yes the man used his powers in this ugly way
And his powers are growing every day
Their original religion was pagan
Check the laws created by Ronald Reagan
Were they created to keep you poor?
And living in the ghetto where survival a chore

But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?

That now is the time to stop making excuses
To stop self inflected abuses
To stop giving away your power
You should be the one living in the high tower
That your ancestors were kings
And your mother is a beautiful black queen
That now it is time to stop selling and using drugs that are killing you
Those drugs were designed to destroy you
And they are
For as long as you buy or sell drugs you won’t go far

But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?
But really though
Don’t you already know?

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
