    Pretty Doing Bad

    He couldn’t sleep at night
Had bad dreams filled with fright
    Dreaming about pretty doing bad
Lost every penny he ever had
    Woke up in prison mad
With a story that’s real sad

Imagine the prettiest girl in the world
Walking the strip with a sweated out curl
Foot pain echoed in her face
    Evident in her labored pace
He was working hard that day
His thoughts were a mile away
Then he looked upon her trouble
Became captain save a whore on the double
Offered his help offered his hand
Said it was all part of being a man
He whooped her up and took her home
He wished today he’d left her alone
Got her home she offered herself
He looked at her body and had thoughts of great wealth

She was pretty as a dove in flight
Pretty doing bad looked pretty out of sight
Like a million dollar money maker
If only he could find a way to break her
Getting paid was his only goal
He wanted to earn that big bank roll

He thought he was pretty smart
Never thought of himself as a mark
She claimed she was a go getter
    Can handle the heavy hitter
Promise to bring him lots of money
From selling samples of her honey
He looked deep into her eyes
    And could see no lies
That’s when his pimping turned to simping
With no choosing fee its simping not pimping
It was his idea to suit and boot her
To fix her curls to give her pearls and a fur
With his money in her hands she vowed to go get it
With and empty promise to come back with it

    Stupid is what stupid does
And he is the stupidest there ever was
Thinking he could be a pimp
Instead he was a square he was a wimp
He was over his head and way out classed
    A recipe to finish last

    Back at work
Bragging about his new girl acting like a jerk
High siding stating she was so fine
A money maker a one of a kind
Swearing she would bring him the money
Why you laughing ain’t nothings funny
Said by the time he closed up shop
She’d bring him big money and he’d be on top
Suddenly he saw her pass by
With a broke bum with her hand down his fly
So he got with his toughest friend
And they went to find her again
Knowing he could afford the lost
He should have avoided her at all cost

In a rage he chased after her
Obviously he wanted back his fur
But he hungered for much much more
And his pride he wanted to restore
Greed wouldn’t let him let it go
Would she have come back with it he’ll never know

He caught her buying the bum a happy meal
Asked her what was the deal?
But when her lies went too far
He forced her into his car

    That’s kidnapping from the start
Then it all started to fall apart
    When he couldn’t control her
    He tried to kill her
    When he failed
He tried to put her up for sell
    But she tried to escape
So he headed home and considered rape
    Fortunately the cops
Arrested him on a traffic stop

    To the police he talked
With his friend car and keys she walked
He went to prison and to hell
She went to his house and had show and tell
There is a reason why pretty is doing bad
To never find out is a reason to be glad

    He couldn’t sleep at night
Had bad dreams filled with fright
    Dreaming about pretty doing bad
    Lost everything he ever had
    Woke up in prison mad
With a story that’s real sad
