    Joy

You was any mans play toy
When I changed you name to Joy
You was lost in the strife
    And I saved your life

    In the skin game
I taught you to reach for the fame
    By practicing your art
    And proving you’ve got heart
    Selling men their dreams
    Knowing nothings what it seems
    When they proposition sex
You will break them with your hex
    It then becomes your duty
To give your trap to yours truly
Through your action you will find
    Wealth within your prime

    They called you Joy
    Every mans play toy
The answer to every mans dream
    You became the true Queen

    Rasta was your name
When your life was filled with shame
    Until you met me
And my knowledge set you free
In the game you began to shine
    While well past your prime
    Collecting the big money
    By selling your gourmet honey
    I knew you’d go far
And become a street walking superstar

    Joy joy joy joy
You learned every trick and every ploy
You became my number one shining star
    My best creation by far

When I changed your name to Joy
In your hands every man became a boy
To me you was worth a million
And a hundred of you a billion
But no matter where you’ll from
When in Vegas you all act like one
    Showing no honor and loyalty
By way of the game you’ll never reach royalty
You lie and fail the simplest plan
In every way you possibly can
    Your first love was drugs
    And second freaking with thugs

But they still called you Joy
Free freaking with every Tom Dick and Roy
For a roll in the sack for some crack
With any Jill or any Jack

When we met I got paid
When you’re gone I’ll have it made
Your star has all but fade
By getting caught up in the drug wave
But that’s the name of the game
Players get paid and the lame get maimed
No matter how long or short the run
I’m coming out on top bar none

In the end you were still called Joy
You was never one to play coy
You are the reason why dope is King Pimp
When I think of you now makes my thing go limp

You was any mans play toy
When I changed you name to Joy
You was lost in the strife
    And I saved your life
    They called you Joy
    Every mans play toy
The answer to every mans dream
    You became the true Queen
    Joy joy joy joy
You learned every trick and every ploy
You became my number one shining star
    My best creation by far
But they still called you Joy
Free freaking with every Tom Dick and Roy
For a roll in the sack for some crack
With any Jill or any Jack
In the end you were still called Joy
You was never one to play coy
You are the reason why dope is King Pimp
When I think of you now makes my thing go limp
You was any mans play toy
When I changed you name to Joy
You was lost in the strife
    And I saved your life

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
