    Can You Hear Me?

Sometimes we do reach the highest peak of the mountain
Standing on top of the world...
    Achieving our greatest feat
Then, as we exclaim our victory and triumph for the world to hear
    And witness the greatness prevailed
Awareness seeps into the soul and pierces the heart
For no sound echoes from mute lips that chokes upon deaf ears.

Exceptionally well done! and so true.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
