Color Your Pedals

  • I'm hoping to get back into writing, I know its not going to be great at first, but I hope you like what I've got

Color Your Pedals

If life were a rose garden
Which color would you be?
Which shape, size, or form;
Would you want to be adored?

Or would you be thrown in the trash
Not care about Human's wrath
As long as you were seen
How about Green?

Would that make you happy; full of glee?
But Jealousy is not honored in the Rose Garden of our King.

I would be Yellow,
With a hint of Tangerine
Bright and Sunny,
Not Brown as a bean!

Now we're on to size
Slim, Round, or Chunky?
Does it really matter
If your Peachy and Spunky??

It really shouldn't matter,
What type of rose you are
As long as your on the Bright Side
It's definite you'll go far

So spread your colored pedals
And drift into a World
Like our colored Rose Garden
For every shape, size, color, boy, and every girl.

Why Thank you! This is One of my favorites too. :)

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
