Conception

…like the hands of a gardener kneading the yielding soil of creation

U slipped knowingly into my love

Massaging the seeds of eternity

U entered me and I realized u are my forever

A kindred spirit that knew me at my purest

Accepted my humanity

And love me anyway

My heat instantly married u and committed itself unselfishly

In open ceremony we held hands with time and returned to the freedom of ourselves

Illuminated

Engrossed in the splendor of revelation

Your essence touched mine and I knew that I was real

True in every sense and fully prepared to receive

So when my blissful cries penetrated the Heavens

A celestial being answered assuredly

Kissing infinite knowledge good-bye

And courageously embracing the ignorance of life

The destiny of our souls was perpetually changed

And was reborn in the form of our

Child…

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
