Consumed

Heavy weighted chains
Past indescretions
Hover over me
Like a vulture,ready,
Always ready
To glide down
On heavy wings-
To consume me.
Like the eagle that
Tears out the liver
Of Prometheus
I am not as cursed as he-
The pieces of my soul
That predator carries away
Stay gone

Awesome!!! You have some great talent!!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
