Redemption

I wake up,-no faith in the day,
Bloody thoughts,hope and pray-
There's no tommorrow,
Feel my way through
Like being under water'
Where's the hope when you need it?
Drowned like a premature kitten that had no chnce at life.
I struggle, bite the hand that bleeds me,
fight the powers that wish they were me
so they would be free.
No conscience, and no consciouness,
Every thing so gray,no worries, no happieness
Ive made it all go away, just living.
I've crawled on broken glass so long, so far
Just to get to the point
Where I wonder where the blood comes from.
From my arms, from my eyes,
Does it drip off the ceiling and fall
In to congealing puddles like yesterdays trash
I cannot sit still-keep my head up,
Try to keep it moving but it's impossible to
Focus on the things right in front of my face-
I can't stay in one place.
Oh God I want redemption,
But they dont put that in a bag
So help me find the piece of mind
That will save my soul.

Inner visions in plain view!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
