    cursed

i knew a little girl once, she always seemed so afraid,
so i showed her around the garden, my imagination made,
she said "wow this is neat, no one will know i'm here"
so i left her in my garden, she hasn't come out for years,
she tells me theres another girl, and she was in there first,
but that i can't remember, my garden must be cursed,

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
