Dear Grandad
Dear Grandad,
I just want to say,
I miss you more and more,
Each and every day.
You taught me so much,
And stood by my side,
I miss the stories you told,
With the ocean I've cried.
The memories I have,
I hold deep within my heart,
You still bring so much joy,
Even though we are apart.
I miss seeing you and Nan,
Walking hand in hand,
You are my inspiration,
The reason I am the way I am.
I'll never forget,
What you used to tell me,
And how all you wanted,
Was for me to be happy.
'When you find true love,
Never let it go.
Fall in love with someone's mind, and connect with their soul'.
Now that I'm older,
I can truly understand it,
That's how you and Nan,
Were so incredibly well suited.
Although you have passed,
You're not really gone,
For you have brought so much light,
With how you'd help everyone.
Thank you for everything,
And the adventures we've had,
you're the greatest man I've known,
I love you Grandad.
