To find the one

Find someone who always calls you back and never lets you fall asleep feeling unwanted.

Find someone who will never leave you behind, and never take you for granted.

Find someone who sees galaxies in your eyes and hears music in your heartbeat.

Find someone whose laugh fills your soul and whose smile makes you feel complete.

Find someone who tickles you and cuddles you on good days and on bad.

Find someone who makes memories when you're happy and picks you up when you're sad.

Find someone who will stand by you when you're right and stand by you when you're wrong.

Find someone who has seen you at your worst but their love for you still stands strong.

Find someone who checks you get home safely and sticks by you even when you don't deserve it.

For this is when you know you've found your one and only soulmate.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
