DONT WAST YOUR BEATH

you and your love is a lie
you can tell me there is no one else
you can say that you care
but don't wast you breath
because i know you a lie
how dose i feel knowing that kiss
was meant to be on my lips
who do you think you are
you tell that your in love
you time me I'm the one but
don't wast your breath
i fall asleep with the phone
another night alone
you can make up another reason
but don't wast you breath
don't say sorry
dont tell me that your by your self
your nothing but a lie
don't call because i don't want to here it
don't come by
don't try to talk to me
and don't wast your breath

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
