Dreamers

Dreamers...

Dreams are pieces of life yet to be experienced.
Wonders of magic.
Timelines that tempt treasures,
To be discovered.

We pause, with our heart in hand.
For great moments of magic are
to be found within simple moments of living.

Some dreams,
Hidden in-between cracks of life
Live ordinary moments
Waiting...
Like buds on a sunflower, opening when ready.

Within those ordinary moments,
Gigantic possibilities
Live like streams of sunlight

Opening caverns of love and promise
To be felt far inside our heart,
When it is time.

Yet life isn't that simple.
Silent slivers of despair
 Wait in darkness

So small and imprenetrable,
Like turtleneck sweaters
Being pulled on for the first time.

So, hold tight to your dreams
As they slowly show themselves.

Remember, gigantic possibilities
 Live like streams of sunlight
Opening caverns of promise
Far beneath the earth,

When darkness turns into sunlight,
Dreams become reality.

This is very beautiful! Such an original thought on dreams. Thank you for posting it. I am looking forward to reading more of you!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
