    Dreams & Hope

    Childish dreams

    Unlikely hopes

    Maybe we're nothing

    Is this just a joke?

    What if I love him?

    But what if I don't?

    I can't explain these feelings I have

I can't expect him to understand

The way I think about him everyday

Thoughts of him just won't go away

The way he causes me to think

Wait...has it even been a week?

    I'm lost in myself

    Losing focus on what's left

    But somehow

All those little things seem to matter

    All because of him

    Those dreams are restored

    Thanks to him

    I do have hope

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
