EMERALD By:Shanaye West-Simato

The gift placed on a may flower
Indeed a precious jewel
Giving you the power to rule over love
because you have a way about yourself
No one else has this natural ability to love
 their counterparts as like you
Few have the constancy of mind
You are green like grass
You are solid like brass
The task you are given is to be highly adored
All the more why you are EMERALD

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
