Please, My Love By:Shanaye West-Simato

I am handing you my heart
Please, my love don't tear it
 asunder
Don't watch it plunder to the ground
And try to put it back together
Simply, don't break it
Wounds are necessary to heal
But, let's be real
It isn't necessary to crush it downhill
50,000 chariots,10,000 tanks
Tossed to and frow over into the ranks
Please, my love don't spew your saliva onto my
 emotions like they don't matter
It would only make this indifferent world sadder in its latter
Crickled and crimpled up is the hollow part of so many beings
I am just seeing that I could not bear to be that way
Such a price to pay for just loving you, don't you think?
Don't let the brutal opening of your lips or hand
connect harshly with the soft of my temple
Please, my love take good care of me

Another masterfully written piece... you are very good at drawing out emotion and describing it to a tee...

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
