I'll give up my world for you
    This isn't my home anyway
We don't belong to this world
So why deal with the madness of it
I'm tired, tired of the yelling
I'm sick, sick of the mental distress
I'll confess- I want to leave it all
I want to be rit of the cold fall nights
    And the rigid sunlight
    Peace is what you deserve
    Love is what you need
I want us to be happy and free
    Pockets full of joy
    Air full of serenity
    Positive company
My soul is burdened with the cares of the dirt
My brain is weary with the soil of hurt
Makes amends with your life and join me on my journey
out of the dungeon that we married into

Masterfully written, girl.... intense and intriguing, and a surprise ending that I didn't expect ;-)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
