    Emotional Roller Coaster Game

Spinning on a carousel of emotions,
    I'm in over my head...
    Getting dizzy and weak,
But I don't wanna get off,
    Instead...
I wanna go faster, harder, fancy, scott-free,
I don't wanna get off yet--
I want to really be me
    To express how I feel
    To show what I want,
    But my dreams at night
    These emotions will haunt.
    They scream out to me,
    Yes girl this is real!
But don't you say one word until...
You know what you feel is returned
Don't take a chance if you might get burned.
    You feel for him,
    You know that you do.
    He feels for you,
    And you know that too.
    But until he tells you
    That he feels the same
    You will keep on playing
    The roller coaster game.

I love the imagery and wording that you employ here to illustrate your point.Love can sometimes feel like this, but the easiest way to get off of the roller coaster is to talk with our mate about our feelings. If they don't feel as strongly about us as we do them, then we need to part as friends and walk away;so we can find true love.

sometimes we must follow our heart which will put us in line for that ride. But in the end its up to us to ride again or get off and stay off. Love your poem.

    Very good poem. Very expressive.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
