Empty Truth
I have a hard time expressing
The way that I feel about you
My body is telling me yes
But my mind doesn’t know what to do
When I first spoke to you
I liked you
When I first met you
I fell for you
When I first hugged you
I felt warm inside
It was a certain feeling
That I could not hide
When I first kissed you
My heart melt
I really don’t know what you felt
You said that you’ll love me
But do you know what love means?
You say you like me
But that’s not how it seems
You say you care for me
And that’s not all
You say you’ll listen to me
And not let me fall
You said you’d understand me
And hold me when I cry
You said you’d protect me
But that was just a lie
My heart has been broken
And broken again
The pain burns deep
To deep for it to mend
I wanted to love you
And never leave your side
I don’t have anything left
My soul has run a hide
