Surrounded by darkness I got lost in the night
confused without direction, imagine my fright

Eyes of faith so colored with love
a star came along it shined from above

So many stars but just one glistened in the night
this one was different just look at its light

So captivating you can hardly look away

Diamonds in the darkness they shine for you and me
these gifts he has given us out of his love you see

Eyes he has given us but not all are not able to perceive
some get lost they just don't believe

Wind he gives us to strengthen our faith,
we cant see it but we can feel it on our face

The stars he has given us as they twinkle before all
how could one not believe and feel so very small

Mountains he given and waters that cover his land
to gaze upon these wonders one must see his hand

Lakes and ponds rivers and shores
All these things are mine and yours

Stars and skies the sun and moon
The sunsets come and go much to soon

The smell of trees and grass they have their scent
The smell of wintergreen the smell of mint

Breath in these sights treasures and smells
Looking at Gods creations as a story they tell

Never rushing things because true beauty will show
Patience is a virtue it will help you to grow
