    Fall

He made an impression in the grays of his braid

Shaded in the clouds sent by Brother Sky
Comforting and close to calm the season

Bright Sister Sun in dazzling blue
Softened by the blanket drifting by

Deepening the rich colors from Mother Earth
No longer washed by brilliant cherished days

Cool crisp colors of red and brown
Gifts from Mother to her children

    Brother Moon’s time is coming
    Guided lovingly by Grandfather

An interesting approach to fall. Only one question, is (he) also father? why not say so, since mother, brothers, and sister are also present from the family of the universe? a poet friend RH Peat

I still love this one. It speaks so clearly of the bright, crisp days of fall - which somehow are at the same time muted - and of the relationships all of us have to nature.

Thank you so much, I definitely value your opinion

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
