    Father

Father that is what you are suppose to be,

Not as mean and cruel as the world to see.

Angels that is what we are in your eyes,

When we are hurt your world crumbles and dies.

Together we are as one big family,

Even if there is only you and me.

    Happiness is what we have,

And boy we grow as time does pass.

    Everyday we talk and joke,

I come to realize you are on dope.

Remember the last days you were alive,

And my beautiful face you could not recognize.

As sad as I was to see you gone,

I know you are in my heart I'm never alone.

The one thing you warned me of all my young days,

You let come along and end your pain.

But you left me here in this world so cruel,

And you took the easy route out when you ran out of fuel.

If you could find no other reason to stay,

You should have thought about the past years and you would be here today.

Of course I could have other dads but you were like no other,

A dad does not come close to the love of a father and a daughter.
